Change Your Options Using the PROFILE Displays

The following is a representative list of options you can change using the PROFILE displays.

• General Profile

  For all displays, you can set or change the following:

  • Default PF key designations for all commands
  • Initialization and termination options
  • Printing and copying options
  • Special command and line command characters
  • Display options
• Command Profile

  In most command profiles, you can set or change the following:

  • Alternate names (synonyms) for issuing the command
  • PF key designations for the command (these override the GENERAL profile settings)
  • PF key messages
  • Default parameters for a command
  • Command display format
  • Date and time display options
  • Whether the command line prompt is displayed
  • Initial sort parameters
