All SMF recording data sets are full and need to be dumped. All buffer space in the SMF address space is also full. SMF has discarded <nnnnn> records. Initiate the SMF dump procedures appropriate for your site.

The line command <commname> is not valid for an SMF data set in the status <stat>.

SMF$005E DUMP invalid, no usable SMF control member available

The DUMP line command was issued, but no usable SMF control member was found in the PARMLIB data set. Add or fix the SMF PARMLIB member and issue the command again.

SMF$006E SWITCH invalid, no other dataset in AVAILABLE status

The SWITCH line command was issued but no other SMF data sets are in AVAILABLE status.
