MVS$001E Command parameter required by <comname> command

The <comname> command requires the command parameter. Issue the command again, specifying the required parameter.

MVS$002E Invalid command, max length is 126

The operator command supplied as a parameter with the MVS command was longer than 126 characters. Issue the command again, specifying a valid command.

MVS$003E REPLY id required

The MVS command was used to issue the REPLY operator command but no reply ID number was specified. Reissue the command supplying a reply ID number.

MVS$004E Invalid REPLY id, max length is <length>

The MVS command was used to issue the REPLY operator command but the reply ID number was longer than the maximum allowed reply ID length of <length>. Reissue the command specifying a valid reply ID.

MVS$005E Invalid REPLY id, not numeric

The MVS command was used to issue the REPLY operator command but the reply ID was not numeric. Reissue the command specifying a valid ID.

MVS$007E System name required by ROUTE command

The MVS command was used to issue the ROUTE operator command but no target system name was supplied. Reissue the command specifying a system name.

MVS$008E Invalid system name <sysname>, max length is 8

The system name <sysname> specified on the ROUTE operator command was longer than eight characters. Reissue the command specifying a valid system name.

MVS$009E System <sysname> undefined

The system name <sysname> specified on the ROUTE operator command is not defined in the sysplex. Reissue the command specifying a valid system name.

MVS$010E System <sysname> not active

The system name <sysname> specified on the ROUTE operator command is not active in the sysplex. Reissue the command specifying an active system name.

MVS$011E Invalid syntax, ROUTE <sysname> not comma delimited

The ROUTE <sysname> operator command was not entered correctly.

The ROUTE <sysname> operator command was not entered correctly.

MVS$013E Command parse failed, error code <errcode>

The command parsing routine failed with error code <errcode>. Note the error code and the conditions in which the error occurred. Contact CA Technical Support.

MVS$014E Not authorized for <comname> command

The user is not authorized to issue the MVS command <comname>. If you must use the command, contact your Security Administrator for permission.

MVS$015E Command too long - No room to add required ROUTE <sysname> prefix

It was determined that the operator command specified by the user should be routed to another system in the sysplex, but the command was too long to allow the addition of the <ROUTE sysname> prefix without exceeding the maximum command length of 128. For a description of the conditions under which a command is routed, see message MVS$017I.

MVS$016I Command issued - <operator_command>

The MVS command has been used to issue the operator command. The message displays the user-issued command <operator_command>.

MVS$017I Command routed - <operator_command>

The MVS command was issued from the CONSOLE command display. The console displayed by the CONSOLE command had a default target command system name different from the system on which the console was active. The MVS command routed the operator command to the system indicated by the CMDSYS=<sysname> value on the CONSOLE screen. This message displays the user-issued command <operator_command>.

MVS$018W System <sysname> appears stopped

An explicit ROUTE command was issued to a system that appears to be stopped. The command was not routed.

MVS$019E Invalid ROUTE timeout parameter - <var1>

MVS$020E ROUTE of ROUTE command invalid when ROUTE target is *ALL, *OTHER or groupname
