The line command <linecmd> is invalid on a job that is not held. Clear the line command to continue.

The <x> line command cannot be used for a job on the <xxxx> queue. Clear the line command to continue.
The system control block necessary to alter the selected job does not exist. A system crash can cause this situation. A JES2 cold start may be required to delete the job.
The status of job <jobname> has changed. Issue the REFRESH subcommand to update the display, or clear the line command to continue.
The job is no longer active on device <devname>. Issue the REFRESH subcommand to update the display, or clear the line command to continue.
An attempt to read the JES2 spool file failed. <code> is the return code. Note the return code and the circumstances in which the error occurred. Contact CA Technical Support.
The entry selected contains output files with duplicate data set IDs. Use the LISTFILE command to process the output files individually.
The destination name specified for the job is invalid. Change the name to a valid destination name, or clear the destination field to continue.
Job <jobname> is active on a device that is not attached to the current system. The delete line command cannot be used in this situation. Clear the field to continue.
Job <jobname> is scheduled to print. Jobs scheduled to print cannot be deleted. Wait until the job is on the printer before using the delete line command.
Job <xxxxxxxx> is active on a device. Not all of the job output is on the device, so the job cannot be deleted. Clear the line command to continue.
The line command used on job <xxxxxxxx> can only be used on jobs that are executing on the current system. Clear the line command to continue.
The <xx> line command was used on a job that was not on the output queue, or the destination of the job was not a local destination. Clear the line command to continue.
The R line command was used on an input queue job that was held by the JES2 $HQ command. Jobs held this way cannot be released individually. Clear the line command to continue. The R line command can be used on the Job Classes display to release the entire job class.
