DSIN - DSINFO Command Messages

DSIN001E <dsname> not cataloged

The data set name <dsname> is not cataloged. To display information for data sets that are not cataloged, supply the volser parameter with the DSINFO command.

DSIN002E LOCATE failed - RC=<code>

A LOCATE macro failed. Note the error codes and the circumstances in which the error occurred. Contact CA Technical Support.

DSIN003E Volume <volser> not mounted

The volume <volser> is not mounted. Verify the volume serial number you are using or mount the volume.

DSIN004E <dsname> not found on <volser>

The data set <dsname> was not found on the indicated volume <volser>.

DSIN005E OBTAIN format <type> DSCB failed - RC=<code>

An OBTAIN macro failed. Note the error codes and the circumstances in which the error occurred and contact CA Technical Support.

DSIN006E Logical VTOC error <code> on volume <volser>

A logical VTOC error was encountered. Note the error codes and the circumstances in which the error occurred and contact CA Technical Support.

DSIN007E <dsname> is a GDG base name

The data set name <dsname> is not a true data set name. It is a GDG base name. GDG base names are not supported by the DSINFO command.

DSIN008W Multi-volume dataset - Information from volume <number> of <total> displayed

The requested data set is a multi-volume data set. The information displayed is taken from only one volume <number> of the data set. <total> is the total number of volumes in the data set.

DSIN009E VTOC read failed - R15 <reg15> R0 <reg0> R1 <reg1>

DSIN010E Volser parm reqd for dsn <name>

The VTOC or FORMAT4.DSCB data set name <name> was specified without specifying a volume serial number. Issue the DSINFO command again using a volume serial number.

DSIN011E Recall failed - <type> <code>

The attempt to recall an archived data set failed with the abend or error code <type> <code>. Determine why the error or abend occurred and issue the DSINFO command again.

DSIN012W Dataset archived - specify RECALL keyword to request restore

The requested data set has been archived. Reenter the DSINFO command specifying the same data set name and a volser of RECALL to explicitly request restoring the data set.

DSIN013W RECALL ignored, <dsname> not archived

A volser of RECALL was specified for data set <dsname> but it is not archived. The RECALL keyword is ignored and processing continues.
