ASID - ASID Command Messages

ASID001E <asid> is not a valid ASID

The ASID <asid> is not valid. This can occur when the ASID specified is greater than the maximum defined ASID. Verify the maximum defined ASID, and try the command again.

ASID002E ASID <asid> is not active

The requested ASID is not active.

ASID003E ASID with jobname <jobnm> not found

The requested jobname was not found for any active ASID.

ASID004I ASID reset to HOME ASID <asid> job <jobname>

The ASID <asid> specified for job <jobname> equals the HOME ASID.

ASID005I ASID <actn> to ASID <asid> job <jobname>

The ASID has been switched or restored to ASID <asid> and job <jobname>.

ASID006I ASID switched to job <jobname> ASID <asid>

The ASID is successfully switched to ASID <asid> and job <jobname>.

ASID007E ASID switch to ASID <asid> job <jobname> failed, ASID inactive

The ASID <asid> specified for the job <jobname> has terminated before the switch can be completed.

ASID008E ASID switch to ASID <asid> job <jobname> failed, SVC timed out

The switch to ASID <asid> for job <jobname> cannot be completed. The SVC scheduled to the new ASID has not completed in the required amount of time. This normally occurs when the requested ASID is swapped out and MVS cannot or will not swap it back in.

ASID009E Invalid ASID parameter - <asid> parameter

The ASID parameter supplied is not valid.

ASID010I ASID reset to HOME ASID<asid> job <jobname> DSID <dspname>

The ASID has been reset to the original home ASID/job, the data space name has been set to <dspname>, and AR mode has been set to ON.

ASID011I ASID switched to ASID <asid> job <jobname> DSID <dspname>

The ASID has been switched to ASID <asid> (job <jobname>), the data space name has been set to <dspname>, and AR mode has been set to ON.

ASID012I ASID <switched> to job <jobname> ASID <asid> DSID <dspname>

The ASID has been switched to job <jobname> (ASID <asid>), the data space name has been set to <dspname>, and AR mode has been set to ON.

ASID013I ASID <asid> saved

The current target ASID has been saved. It can be restored with the command:

ASID RESTORE
ASID014E ASID <kwd> invalid with QUERY option

The keyword <kwd> is not valid with the QUERY option.

ASID015I ASID <parm> is ASID <asid> Jobname <jobnm> Jobnr <jobno>

The ASID <parm> corresponds to ASID <asid>, job name <jobname>, and job number <jobnr>.

ASID016E <kwd> keyword not valid for <cmd> command

The keyword <kwd> is not valid for the <cmd> command.

ASID017W <actn> failed, environment changed while processing command

The <actn> action failed. The environment changed while the command was processing. Retrying the same command may be successful.

ASID018E Job number <jobnr> is not type <jobtp>

The requested job number <jobnr> is not the required type of <jobtp>

ASID019I <parmtyp> <parmval> is ASID <asid> jobname <jobnm> jobid <jobid> type <type>

The job name specified matched multiple ASIDs. You must use the explicit hexadecimal ASID for an exact match. Use the ACTIVITY or ASLIST commands and then use the SELECT command to display just the jobname you are interested in to see the hex ASID associated for each job.

The JES keyword of the ASCANCEL command is valid only for batch jobs that have a job number.

ASID043E Value required for <kwd> keyword

The <kwd> keyword requires a value and none was supplied.

ASID044E Invalid value for <kwd> keyword

The value supplied for the <kwd> keyword is not valid.

ASID045E <kwd> <val> only valid when <asid> parm is a jobname

You can only specify the <kwd> <val> keyword and value when the <asid> parameter is specified as a jobname.

ASID046W ASID found with jobname <jobnm> but not type <type>

An ASID with the requested job named <jobnm> was found but its type did not match the type requested with the TYPE <type> parameter.

ASID047E <kwd> TYPE <astype> not found

An <asid> keyword parameter of <kwd> was specified along with TYPE <astype> parameter and no matching ASID was found.

ASID048E ASID with jobname <jobnm> and type <type> not found

An ASID with the job name <jobnm> and type <type> was not found for any active ASID.

ASID049W Multiple ASIDs with jobname <jobnm> and type <type> found
