Test the Display Method

A resource definition uses the display method to find out the status of a resource.

To test the specified display method of a resource

1. Enter D beside the resource.

   The display method is executed.

2. Check the following settings if the state is UNKNOWN:
   • Specified resource name is correct.
   • Specified display method is correct.
   • Specified message rules are correct. Use the transient log to check the messages.
3. Correct the error.
