Connect to Hardware Interface Service

The HISRV parameter group enables you to connect to Hardware Interface Service.

To connect to Hardware Interface Service

  1. Enter the /PARMS panel shortcut.

    The list of parameter groups appears.

  2. Enter U next to the $RM HISRV parameter group under the INTERFACES category.

    The HISRV - Hardware Interface Service panel appears.

  3. Specify YES in the Enable Server Event Receiver field, and update the other fields as required.

    Note: Press F1 (Help) for more information.

  4. Press F6 (Action).

    The connection to Hardware Interface Service is established.

  5. Press F3 (File) to save your settings.

    The connection becomes active each time the region starts.
