Uninstall of SOA Security Gateway Fails With Errors on Linux (73957)

Attempting to uninstall the SOA Security Gateway from a Linux system by running the uninstall.sh script in SOA_HOME/install_config_info fails, producing the following error message.

Warning: -Xmx201326592 not understood. Ignoring.
Warning: -Xms16777216 not understood. Ignoring.
Invocation of this Java Application has caused an InvocationTargetException. This application will now exit. (LAX)

• soa_home

  Specifies the SOA Security Manager installation location. By default, this is ~/CA/SOA_Security_Manager.

Workaround

1. Navigate to the SOA_HOME directory.
2. Back up any files that you might need again (for example, entities.xml, license file, JMS jars, and so on).
3. At the command prompt, execute the following command:

   rm –rf ./SOA Security Gateway
