Enable 32-Bit Applications Mode for the Default Application Pool on 64-Bit Windows Server 2008 Systems
On 64-bit Windows Server 2008 systems, modify the IIS Default Website application pool to set the Enable 32-Bit Applications option to true.
To set the Enable 32-Bit Applications Option
- Open IIS Manager.
The Start page of the IIS Manager appears.
- Expand the web server.
The Application Pools icon and the Web Sites folder appear.
- Right-click the Application Pools icon and then select the DefaultAppPool option.
- Select the Set Application Pool Defaults option.
- Change the value of the Enable 32-Bit Applications option to true.
- Click OK.
