How to Configure a SOA Security Manager Web Agent on IIS 7.0
To configure a SOA Security Manager Web Agent for an IIS 7.0 web server, use the following process:
- Verify the following prerequisites:
- The SOA Security Manager Web Agent is installed.
- The computer running the SOA Security Manager Web Agent was restarted after the installation (without running the SOA Security Manager Web Agent Configuration wizard).
- The web server (IIS) role is added your web server.
- Add role services to your IIS 7.0 web server.
- If you are using the SOA Security Manager Windows authentication scheme, add the Windows authentication role service to your IIS 7.x web server.
- Configure a classic-mode application pool for SOA Security Manager.
- Move the applications you want to protect with SOA Security Manager to the classic-mode application pool.
- Run the Web Agent Configuration wizard.
- If you want to use the SOA Security Manager Windows Authentication scheme, configure the virtual directory on the IIS web server.
- Add the handler mappings to any additional web sites that you want to protect with SOA Security Manager.
Note: These settings are added to the Default Web Site of the IIS web server automatically by the Web Agent Configuration wizard.
- Add the SOA Security Manager ISAPI filter any additional web sites that you want to protect with SOA Security Manager.
