How to Configure a SOA Security Manager Web Agent on IIS 7.5

To configure an SOA Security Manager Web Agent for an IIS 7.5 web server, use the following process:

  1. Verify the following prerequisites:
  2. Add role services to your IIS 7.5 web server.
  3. If you are using the SOA Security Manager Windows authentication scheme, add the Windows authentication role service to your IIS 7.x web server.
  4. Configure a classic-mode application pool for SOA Security Manager.
  5. Move the applications you want to protect with SOA Security Manager to the classic-mode application pool.
  6. Run the Web Agent Configuration wizard.
  7. Add the ISAPI filters to all the web sites on the IIS 7.5 web server that you want to protect with SOA Security Manager.
  8. Add the handler mappings to all the web sites on the IIS 7.5 web server that you want to protect with SOA Security Manager.
  9. Grant the classic-mode application pool identity permissions for the following directories:
  10. If you are using the SOA Security Manager Windows authentication scheme, create and configure the virtual directory.
