Apply SiteMinder Updates to a SOA Security Manager Policy Server

After a SiteMinder Policy Server is converted for SOA Security Manager use, you can apply SOA Security Manager and supported SiteMinder software updates. Before applying a SiteMinder software update to a SOA Security Manager Policy Server, review the SOA Security Manager r12.1 Platform Support Matrix to confirm that it has been tested for compatibility with SOA Security Manager.

To apply SiteMinder Policy Server software update to a SOA Security Manager Policy Server:

  1. Back up your Policy Server data, binaries, and configuration files.
  2. Install the latest supported SiteMinder Policy Server update.
  3. Reinstall the Policy Server using the SOA Security Manager r12.1 CR1 installer.
