Administrator

An Administrator can do the following:

• Manage SOA Security Manager objects through the Administrative UI
• Manage Policy Server tools, such as XPSImport and XPSExport

Note: You must configure an external administrator store to use Administrators.

When you configure an Administrator, the delegated privileges control what Administrative UI tasks are available to the administrator. You can use the fined-grained administrative model to create administrators and assign privileges that best match the administrative roles in your organization.
