Administrator Types

A default SOA Security Manager superuser account with full system privileges is created when you configure the policy store. However, we recommend that you create additional administrator accounts whose privileges can be configured to delegate administrative authority.

You can create the following types of administrators:

• Administrators—Manage SOA Security Manager objects using the Administrative UI and other administrative tools
• Legacy Administrators—Manage SOA Security Manager objects using administrative tools; required to use the Policy Management API
