Working with Privileges Data

This chapter describes workflow in a typical work setting. You can generate comprehensive printed reports at each stage of the workflow. Options are functionally organized on the menu bar, and right-click control menus enable the selection of context-sensitive options.

The intention of this chapter is not to provide detailed procedures of the workflow processes but rather to provide an overview. Thus, the total process from importing data through role discovery and audit to exporting processed data back to the production server will be described. Appropriate reference will be provided, where necessary, to more detailed descriptions of key processes in this manual. For example, the import and export processes will be described here in a general way, but these procedures are described in detail in the appendices, depending on specific production servers.
