Replace CA RCM Client Tools

To upgrade to this version of CA RCM, replace previous versions of the CA RCM Discovery & Audit (DNA) and Data Management (DM) client applications.

To replace CA RCM client applications

  1. Remove the previous version of the CA RCM client tools (Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs).
  2. Install this version of the DNA and DM applications using the Client Tools installer.
  3. Browse to the previous version installation directory.

    Data files you created remain in the directory.

  4. Copy data files you want to continue using from the previous version installation directory to this version's installation directory.
  5. Delete the previous version installation directory and any unneeded files in it.
