Web Services Overview
CA RCM exposes web services that support a range of queries and interactions, including the following:
- Data update and exchange—endpoints can submit provisioning changes directly to a CA RCM configuration, and receive provisioning updates from CA RCM.
- What-if queries—provisioning platforms can use CA RCM analytical tools to test proposed provisioning changes for compliance or pattern issues.
- Service extension and integration—external applications or resources can be integrated with CA RCM workflows. For example, CA RCM campaigns and other processes can interface with SMS or other messaging platforms to send users task or status notifications.
Javadoc of the public classes, methods, and services is contained in the CA-RCM-rel#-Language-Files.zip file of the CA RCM installation package.
