Create a Default Audit Properties File

You must specify an audit properties file when you create a universe. Copy the default audit properties file that is created when you run the CA RCM installer. This default file lets you create a universe and run audit processes.

You can clone and modify this default file to customize default settings for a universe.

To create a default audit properties file

  1. In the CA RCM portal, click Administration, Settings, Audit Properties Settings.

    The Audit Properties screen appears.

  2. In the Audit file to load field, click Browse. Navigate to the following folder of the Windows computer on which you ran the CA RCM installer:
    RCM_install\rcm-websphere\rcm-conf\audit\parameters\

Note: RCM_install is the CA RCM installation directory.

  3. Select the default-parameters.properties file and click Open.

The file is saved to the CA RCM database. The file appears in the list of audit properties files.
