Define the JBoss Cluster

All servers in the cluster must have identical configuration, and address the load balancer of the cluster. Some details of cluster definition depend on the load balancer you select and your operating environment.

To define the JBoss cluster

  1. Copy the server image to all servers in the JBoss cluster.

Each server in the cluster runs the CA RCM server and Workpoint server applications, and related services such as the Ticket Management Service.

Each server in the cluster addresses the CA RCM database server you specified during the reference installation.

  2. On the load balancer, configure the network address for the CA RCM portal that you specified in the installation worksheet.

The CA RCM client tools and web service queries from external provisioning platforms address the load balancer.

  3. Log in to the CA RCM portal as an administrator.
  4. Click Administration, Settings, Common Properties Settings.

The Common Properties Settings screen appears.
