Updates to Read-only Files using the Web Modification Service

The Web Modification Service resides on the CA RCM server. It provides more efficient handling of data import and export tasks initiated by CA RCM client tools.

When you edit user or resource databases that have read-only protection, you must use the web modification service to save changes. In this release, the web modification service is not automatically selected for read-only files. As a result, saving these files may make them inaccessible.
