Rebrand the Portal on Windows/JBoss

To implement branding changes on a CA RCM server on Windows/JBoss, overwrite files in the CA RCM installation directory and in the local viewer.ear archive used by the BIRT reporting utility.

To rebrand the portal on Windows/JBoss

1. Prepare updated versions of the graphics and favicon files.
2. In the CA RCM installation directory, overwrite branded graphics files with updated versions.
   • The logo and header images for the portal are located in the following folder under the CA RCM installation directory:

     \Server\eurekify-jboss\server\eurekify\deploy\eurekify.war\images
     

   • The favicon for the portal is located under the directory:

     \Server\eurekify-jboss\server\eurekify\deploy\eurekify.war\images
     

3. Edit the EurekifyBaseWebApplication.properties file located under:

   \Server\eurekify-jboss\server\eurekify\deploy\eurekify.war\WEB-INF\classes\com\eurekify\web\application
   

4. Replace the text strings in the following parameters:
   • portal.header.title
   • portal.header.fullTitle
   • portal.title
5. Browse to the viewer.ear file located under:

   \Server\eurekify-jboss\server\eurekify\deploy
   

6. Using Winzip or another file compression tool, open the file for editing.

   Overwrite the old graphics files in the archive with the updated versions. Do not change the directory paths assigned to each file.
