Registering the LDAP Plugin with AuthMinder

Perform the steps in this section only in the following scenarios:

• You performed a fresh installation of AuthMinder 7.1.01 and want to use it with Adapter 2.2.7.
• You upgraded from AuthMinder 6.2.x to 7.x but did not register the LDAP plugin, and then upgraded to 7.1.01.
• You upgraded from AuthMinder 6.2.x to 7.1.01, but had not registered the LDAP plugin in the previous releases of AuthMinder.

CA Adapter 2.2.7 uses a plugin to enable LDAP authentication using AuthMinder. To ensure that the LDAP plugin used in Adapter 2.2.7 works with AuthMinder 7.1.01, you must register it.

Note: Plugin registration is not required if you had already registered the plugin with an earlier version of AuthMinder and then upgraded AuthMinder to 7.1.01.
