Format of UDS and Administration Console Log Files

The following table describes the format of the entries in the following log files:

Time Stamp

%d{yyyy-MM-dd hh:mm:ss,SSS z} :

The time when the entry was logged. This entry uses the application server time zone. The format of logging this information is:

yyyy-MM-dd hh:mm:ss,mis z

Here:

  • mis represents milliseconds.
  • z represents the time zone.

Thread ID

[%t] :

The ID of the thread that logged the entry.

Log Level (or Severity)

%-5p :

The severity level of the logged entry.

Logger Class

%-5c{3}(%L) :

The name of the logger that made the log request.

Message

%m%n :

The message logged by the Server in the log file in the free-flowing format.

Note: The granularity of the message depends on the Log Level that you set in the log file.
