This chapter introduces the concept of impact analysis and explains how you can perform Impact analysis on repository objects.
Impact analysis is a detailed visual representation of an object with its associations and relationships. When you request an impact analysis for an object, it displays all the objects that depend on the selected object.
Impact analysis helps you understand where an object is used in the CA Repository Webstation Option and helps you predict the behavior of an object whenever a change occurs in it. This type of analysis also helps you determine which entities and associations are affected when an action is performed on an object.
