The Load Program

The CA Repository Exchange for Assembler uses a procedure called DBXSCNC to load the output from the Assembler scanner. You can find this procedure in the CCP$JCL (DBXSCNC) data set. DBXSCNC inserts and updates instances as needed to create program object definitions for the scanned Assembler program.

Before you run the load procedure, you need to customize the DBXSCNC JCL to:

• Specify the names of the input files
• Set up an exclude program list to reduce the number of program-to- program relationships
• Set up the Parameter file
