The chapter describes how to set up and use the CA Repository Exchange for Assembler. After scanning an Assembler program, you can load the output files into the CA Repository for z/OS. The CA Repository Exchange for Assembler includes a procedure for accomplishing this in the CCP$JCL(SCANALC) data set. The load procedure reads the information in the eight scanner output files and uses this information to create program object definitions in. The diagram in the How CA Repository Exchange for Assembler Works section in the "Functional Overview" chapter illustrates this process.
