Operator Failure

This operator fails in the following cases:

• The search path does not exist on the LDAP server.
• The search time limit was exceeded.
• Unable to connect to the LDAP server.

This operation may fail in the following cases, depending on the LDAP server as some LDAP servers consider these as errors while others do not:

• The search filter is invalid.
• The returning attributes are invalid.
• The sorting attributes are invalid.
