Auto Publish WCF Service Connectors into a CA API Gateway
WCF Service Connector applications can now be automatically published from the Code Library Wizard into a CA API Gateway. The auto-publishing happens after a WCF Service Connector has been successfully generated, compiled and published into an Internet Information Server (IIS) instance.
For a list of features and benefits of CA API Gateway series of products, see the CA API Gateway product page (http://www.ca.com/us/securecenter/ca-api-gateway.aspx).
WCF Service Connectors must confirm to the following standards.
- WCF Service Connectors must be generated to support the IIS hosting type and also to support a SOAP 1.1 compliant protocol (for example basicHttpBinding). For more details on WCF Service Connector endpoint configuration and hosting types, see WCF Terminology and Host Type: IIS in the chapter "WCF Service Generation" in the CA Plex .NET Platform Guide (online help).
- You must have administrator access to a running CA API Gateway to auto-publish CA Plex-generated WCF Service Connectors into it. For more information, see the setup and installation documents provided with your CA API Gateway installation.
For more information, see the task-based scenario Auto Publish CA Plex WCF Services into a CA API Gateway.
