How to Install Java Components

The CA Plex Java components are installed automatically when you install CA Plex. They include the following:

To install and configure the Java components, do the following:

Download and install the required version of the Sun Java SE Development Kit (JDK).

Set the JAVA_HOME environment variable.

Configure the server for run-time.

Transfer Java server functions (JAR file) to the server.

Start the Java Dispatcher.
