Top Memory Utilization

The Top Memory Utilization view shows the top average memory utilization levels during a selected time frame for server devices. The view contains a gauge-style chart and an accompanying table that displays data for individual memory pools.

The gauge-style chart shows average memory utilization values from the indicated server. The table view provides bar charts of memory utilization values, color-coded to indicate severity. In the table, the average memory utilization levels during the selected time frame are broken out by individual memory pool. Only the memory pools with the highest memory utilization in the selected server are included.

By default, the Top Memory Utilization view for servers includes the following information:

Device Name

Identifies the server that was the source of the performance data. If an administrator defined an alias for the device item, the alias is displayed. Otherwise, the discovered device name is displayed.

Name

Is the name of the storage sector or memory bank on the indicated device.

Average Utilization

Is the average memory utilization value of the indicated device during the reporting interval.

The utilization statistic indicates the amount of memory capacity being used. The value is a percentage derived by dividing the used memory by the total physical memory on the device.
