Server Capacity Watch Lists

Use the Server Capacity Watch Lists Dashboard to see the status of critical servers throughout the enterprise. This dashboard shows you servers that are performing at or near capacity. Use this information to perform load balancing or plan for server upgrades.

Server performance is affected when a server receives too many requests than it can handle in a particular time period. However, if a server under investigation is not at or near capacity, an application architectural issue, such as too many keepalives, might be the cause. You should also consider whether a security issue, such as a virus, might be the cause of poor server performance.

By default, the Server Capacity Watch Lists Dashboard contains Top Deviations from Normal - CPU and Memory Utilization views and a sortable list of servers.
