Navigate to Device context pages by clicking a device where it appears on an Inventory page. You can also right-click the device to select a specific Device context page.
The Device category includes routers, switches, servers, and 'pingable devices'. A pingable device refers to a device that does not allow SNMP polling and is therefore contacted using ICMP ping tests for status and reachability statistics.
For pingable devices, the following Device context page is available:
Provides high-level data about the device. If the device can be enabled for SNMP monitoring, more data becomes available, and the device is reported on a Router, Switch, or Server page instead of the Pingable Device page.
By default, the Device Summary context page contains the following views:
Edit context pages and create tabs using the Edit menu on the currently selected tab.
