Top Deviations from Normal (Interfaces) - Routers, Switches, Servers

The Top Deviations from Normal views compare actual values from the selected time frame to a calculated "normal" value. These views display those values that deviated the most from that normal value.

What is considered to be "normal" is based on the calculated baseline average. The way the baseline is calculated varies by the registered data source. Use these views to quickly identify places where performance has changed.

Edit the Top Deviations from Normal (Interfaces) view to select a device type: Router, Switch, or Server. You can also select an interface Metric Value to display:

The table displays the following information:

Average [Metric]

Is the average value of the metric for the selected time period.

Average Baseline [Metric]

Is the calculated average baseline value. "Normal" is based on the calculated baseline average.

Percent Deviation

Is the value of the metric calculated as a percentage above or below the normal value.
