The Reachability Trend view shows you a trend chart of average reachability values from a series of ICMP ping tests to the indicated device. Typically, reachability is tracked for "pingable devices." A pingable device refers to a device that does not allow SNMP polling and is therefore contacted using ICMP ping tests for current status and reachability statistics.
By default, the Reachability Trend view includes the following information:
Is the IP address or hostname of the device that was the target of an ICMP ping test.
Reports the percentage of attempts that the device was reachable—a ping response was received from the device during each polling interval—divided by all attempts during the selected time period. For each polling interval, the reachability is one of the following values:
