The Discard In Trend view lets you check interface performance trends at a glance. The line chart displays the average number of inbound packet discards for a selected interface over a selected time period.
By default, the Discard In Trend view includes the following information:
Identifies the device that is associated with the selected interface. If an administrator defined an alias for the device item, the alias is displayed. Otherwise, the discovered device name is displayed.
Is the name of the interface.
Is the total number of discarded packets for inbound traffic on the interface during the reporting period. Values are expressed in thousands.
Projects the trend in future average packet discards from inbound traffic on the interface, using the average discard data in the requested timeframe.
Is the amount of time that each data point in the chart represents.
