CA PMO Commands

The following table summarizes information about CA PMO commands:

C PMO

Disables CA PMO, prevents you from using PMOMON, and prevents CA PMO from reusing its ECSA the next time it is started.

F PMO {,CHECKLIB=data set name} [,VOL=volser]
{,CHECKLIB=MANAGED}
{,CHECKLIB=CANDIDATES}

Causes CA PMO to report on whether the specified library is being managed, whether it is a private or LNKLST library, and whether it has been excluded from management. If no volser is specified, CA PMO reports on the status of all libraries having data set name. Also displays names of all private libraries CA PMO manages (MANAGED) and names of all candidate libraries (CANDIDATES).

F PMO,CYCLE=x

Tells PMO/XSYS to write to and read from the control file every x seconds, where 10 < = x > = 1.

F PMO {,D=data set name}
{,D=LNKLST}
{,D=ALL}

Performs one or more of the following functions:

F PMO,DFDSS=interface option

Turns tracing on for the CA PMO DFDSS exit processing area.

F PMO {,EXCLLNK=data set name}
{,EXCLLNK=ALL}

Excludes one or all LNKLST libraries from CA PMO management.

F PMO {,EXCLPRVT=data set name} [,VOL=volser]
[,AM|,NM|,NR] [,SA|,SN]
{,EXCLPRVT=ALL}

Stops CA PMO from managing one or all private libraries. CA PMO can produce an offline report that lists all members (AM) of the hash table, prints only the summary section (NM) of the report, or produces no report at all (NR). The hash table can be sorted alphabetically by member name (SA) or numerically by resolution count (SN).

F PMO,FDR=interface option

Changes the status of the CA PMO>/FDR interface.

F PMO {,INCLLNK=data set name}
{,INCLLNK=ALL}

Causes CA PMO to start managing one or all LNKLST libraries that had been excluded.

F PMO {,INCLPRVT=data set name} [,VOL=volser]

Causes CA PMO to start managing a new private library.

F PMO,M=member name

Deletes the entry of the specified LNKLST member from the managed list.

F PMO,OFFCHECK

Displays volumes that you have excluded from CA PMO management.

F PMO {,OFFLINE=ALL}
{,OFFLINE=volser name}
{,OFFLINE=volser list}

Removes volumes from CA PMO management.

F PMO {,ONLINE=ALL}
{,ONLINE=volser name}
{,ONLINE=volser list}

Makes volumes reeligible for CA PMO management.

F PMO {,PRVTRPT=data set name}
{,PRVTRPT=ALL}[,VOL=volser]
[,AM|,NM] [,SA|,SN]

Produces an offline report for one or all managed private libraries. The report can list all members (AM) of the hash table, or print only the summary section (NM) of the report. The hash table can be sorted alphabetically by member name (SA) or numerically by resolution count (SN).

F PMO,RESET

Resets all of CA PMO statistics and clears the candidate list.

F PMO,RESETCND

Resets the CA PMOcandidate list.

F PMO,RESETPK

Resets the CA PMO peak interval statistics.

F PMO {,RESUREF=data set name} [,VOL=volser]
{,RESUREF=LNKLST}

Resumes update detection of the specified library or all LNKLST libraries.

F PMO,RPTDSN=data set name [,VOL=volser]

Changes the destination of report output when writing to a data set.

F PMO,STAT

Checks the CA PMO activity status.

F PMO {,SUSPREF=data set name}
{,SUSPREF=LNKLST}
[,VOL=volser] [,type]

Prevents updates to a specified library or all LNKLST libraries managed by CA PMO.

F PMO {,SYSOUT=class}
(,SYSOUT=DS}

Controls the destination of report output.

F PMO {,TRACE= option}

Turns on internal CA PMO tracing.

P PMO

Disables CA PMO.

S PMO [,FORMAT=YES|NO]

Starts CA PMO and optionally formats the PMO/XSYS control file.
