The TRACE command turns on internal CA PMO tracing. You use this command only at the direction of CA PMO support.
The TRACE command has the following syntax:
F PMO {,TRACE= option}
The TRACE command has the following options:
Turns tracing on for CA PMO CYCLE processing.
Turns tracing on for the CA PMO DFDSS exit processing area.
Turns tracing on for the CA PMO FDR exit processing area.
Turns all tracing on for CA PMO.
Turns tracing on for the CA PMO SVC 34 hook processing area.
Turns all tracing off.
Turns tracing on for the CA PMOs DESERV exit within it PRE processing area.
The optional member operand represents the name of a member or a set of members, that you want CA PMO to trace during the DESERV exit PRE processing. The member name can be specified explicitly, or up to 7 leading characters can be followed by the wild character "*".
Traces all members.
Turns on tracing for the CA PMO DESERV exit during POST processing.
The optional member operand represents the name of a member, or a set of members, whose activity will be traced during DESERV exit processing. The member name can be specified explicitly, or up to 7 leading characters can be followed by the wild character "*".
Trace all members.
Turns tracing on for the CA PMO SMS processing area.
Turns tracing on for the CA PMO cross system processing area.
Notes: Due to the significant overhead involved in issuing WTOs, tracing should be turned on only at the direction of CA Technical Support.
