AUTOSMS Parameter

This indicates whether CA PMO should perform priority management for MUST CACHE datasets.

Format

The AUTOSMS parameter has the following syntax:

AUTOSMS=option

Where option is one of the following values:

YES

PMO should perform priority management of SMS MUST CACHE datasets. Caution should be used when running with AUTOSMS set to YES, this may result in thrashing if your CA PMO parameters specify insufficient resources to handle the increase in library management.

Default: AUTOSMS=YES

NO

PMO should not perform priority management of SMS MUST CACHE datasets.
