After applying CA PMA Chargeback maintenance or installing a new version of CA PMA Chargeback, there is an optional step to perform database table updates. Member CAKRTBLM contained in CAJRJCL contains the JCL and instructions on how to perform table updates.
Note: This optional step uses the CAKRTAB procedure, customized during installation.
To determine if table updates are required, review the member CAKRTBLZ in CAJRSQL, before running this update job. Member CAKRTBLZ contains a list of all modified IRD/ORD data sets by release and the SQL statements to delete IRD/ORD data sets. Refresh these data sets as needed. Updating job CAKRTBLM is required when IRD/ORD data sets are in use by the current chargeback algorithm that are listed in CAKRTBLZ. In addition, update CAKRTBLM when the updated IRD/ORD data set provide new metrics in a chargeback algorithm.
