When using DB2 as your database access method, member SP23BIND runs the BIND procedure for the CA SDBS modules that were installed by SYSMOD CSP2300. If you are not using DB2, proceed to the next step in this installation.
To conform to your standards for your data center and the previously completed worksheet, edit the JCL. Submit the job and review the output. Processing should complete with a return code of 4.
Note: Member SP23BIND is located in the CA Common Services for z/OS sample JCL library.
Important! The user ID (referred to as the owner ID) used in subsequent steps must be authorized for the database by your database administrator. This user ID must be used to complete the installation.
