Step 4. Choose a Deployment Method

Do one of the following:

Choose 1 if you want to install the Tomcat Java web application server.

CA Output Management Web Viewer 12 should be deployed on an application server.
If you have an existing application server, select "Use an existing server" and then choose to produce either EAR or WAR files to a target directory.
If there is no existing application server installed on the computer, select "Install Apache Tomcat application server" to install Apache Tomcat.
  ->1- Install Apache Tomcat application server
    2- Use an existing server (WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, etc.)
ENTER THE NUMBER FOR YOUR CHOICE, OR PRESS <ENTER> TO ACCEPT THE DEFAULT:

Specify a folder where the Tomcat application server is to be installed.

Specify an internet socket port number for the Tomcat application server.

Specify a folder to install Tomcat (DEFAULT: /usr/local/CA_OM_Web_Viewer)

Specify a port number (DEFAULT: 8080):

Choose 2 if you have an existing application server on your computer and do not want to install Tomcat.

  ->1- Produce an EAR file
    2- Produce WAR files
ENTER THE NUMBER FOR YOUR CHOICE, OR PRESS <ENTER> TO ACCEPT THE DEFAULT:

Select one of the options and enter the target directory.
After installation, the CA OM Web Viewer EAR file or a pair of WAR files will be generated and placed in this target directory.
