Database Prerequisites

CA OM Web Viewer works with a database server to store administrative data and improve run-time performance by caching that administrative data. You can:

• Let CA OM Web Viewer create an embedded database (Apache Derby embedded database).
• Use an external database

For best performance, we recommend that you use an external database server.
