Disk and Memory Space Requirement

To successfully install CA OM Web Viewer, you need at least 150MB free space in your computer temp folder for the installation.

• On UNIX or USS, the temp folder is /tmp
• On Windows, the user’s temp folder is used.

  For example: C:\Users\USERID\AppData\Local\Temp.

CA OM Web Viewer requires 500MB to 1GB of disk space and 1 to 2 GB in main memory. For a large number of users, more space is needed.

There is no formula that can be used to calculate the required memory for CA OM Web Viewer because memory usage depends on the number of users, login user roles, and user runtime activities.

For each Admin user, Advanced user, and Basic user, there will be substantial differences in memory consumption. The possible memory range is from 500kB to 1MB per user at runtime.
