Directory Object

A Directory object is basically the LDAP information needed to validate a group of users with your current LDAP system. An LDAP Directory will be used to validate a group of users for access to a Role, or to auto enroll users into a Role.

For more information, see LDAP Authentication and Auto Enrollment LDAP Users

Only Members of the System Administrator Role can add or edit a Directory object. However, Group Administrators can view the settings of a directory object, and assign Directory objects to Roles.
