Support Non-English and Multi-Byte Characters in Screen Name

You can enter non-english and multi-byte characters in Screen Name. By default, this feature is disabled.

Follow these steps:

1. Log in to the CA Open Space server.
2. Open the portal-ext.properties file located in the OSOP folder of the CA Open Space installation directory.
3. Set the value for the following variable:

   bypass.liferay.screenname.validation=true
   

4. Save the file.
5. Restart CA Open Space services.

   Non-english and multi-byte characters are supported in Screen Name.
