The CA SDM web client lets you use the Options Manager from the Administrative tab to do the following:
When you view the detailed information for any option, you can get a comprehensive description of its functionality from the Online Help. The Online Help description includes any special actions that you need to take when changing the option. For example, after installing or uninstalling some options, you must recycle the CA SDM server for the option to take effect. If this is the case, the Online Help description for that option indicates it.
Many of the options are preconfigured and installed during CA SDM installation. Using the Options Manager to install or uninstall options can alter some or all of the default settings.
Note: During release cycles, options are occasionally made available through CA SDM support in response to user requests. To learn more about these options, contact CA SDM support. For more information about how to use the Options Manager, see the Online Help.
