Edit CI Attributes for a Base Object

You can edit the configuration item attributes for a base object.

To edit the attributes for a CI

  1. Select a CI in the object's family (Contact, Location, or Organization).

    The Configuration Item Detail page appears.

  2. Click Edit.

    The Update Configuration Item page appears.

  3. On the Attributes tab, click Edit.

    The Update page appears.

  4. Edit the fields as desired, and click Save.

    The Update page closes.

  5. Click Save.

    The Configuration Item Detail page displays the modified CI.
