Create a Parent-Child Link

You can create parent-child relationships for knowledge documents. Use parent-child links to organize related documents for users in your environment.

To create a parent-child link

1. Create a knowledge document or open a document in edit mode.

   The knowledge document appears.

2. Select the Related Knowledge tab.

   The Categories page appears.

   Note: You can also create links from the Find Similar tab. Use search criteria to locate documents.

3. Locate the document you want to link in the Categories (X) pane.

   Right-click the document in the Documents pane and select the Link this as Parent or Link this as Child option to create the link between the documents.

   The document link is created.
