Document Archive and Purge

You can manage the size of your knowledge pool by using Archive and Purge, which removes old and unused documents automatically. Archive and Purge improves the efficiency of knowledge searches by returning only current documents.

Archive and Purge runs as a background process and automatically removes inactive records in the CA SDM database according to rules that you configure. These rules act on CA SDM objects at specific time intervals.
